I hope you are all ready for a great weekend away in the Yarra Valley this weekend. There looks like some crazy weather for those coming up on Friday, but otherwise it has the potential of being quite a mild weekend.

The campsite is really easy to find, just off Warburton highway after you go through Yarra Junction. If you just drive into the campsite and straight towards the Communal area, you should find me around if you need help finding a cabin. We have the whole camp venue booked so feel free to find a spot that suits if you are camping. I have attached a camp map for guidance.

Other Venue Information
Camp Sites:
There are four large, communal, un-powered areas for camping and all are just a short walk to a toilet block, the kitchen, mess hut and recreation area. Choose your own spot near the amenities or tucked away the back of the site near the river. check out the map for more details or check in with me when you get there
Rustic Hut bed:
The cabins are very basic sheds that contain beds and in some cases an open fire. The mattresses on the beds have been well used over the years and can be damp so we recommend you bring a protector or a good barrier to ensure a comfortable sleep. Most cabins are powered with electric lights. There is still at least one cabin up for grabs and the ROWE family will vacate their cabin if someone else wants to book.
(Click to see photos of cabins)
Toilets:
There are three toilet blocks on the campsite and all are drop toilets. Please remember to close the lids after use to keep the odour to a minimum.
Showers:
There is one shower block containing 4 wood fire heated showers. It truely is a magical experience showering in the dark out there ;-)
Rubbish:
All rubbish will need to be removed from the site when we leave. Please bring a bucket with a lid for any compost and appropriate receptacles for other rubbish and recyclables. (empty chook food bags are good as they are non-porous)
